Anne Arundel County Public Schools’ music program continues to excel, with 81 students earning a place on one of 10 2025 Maryland All State Music ensembles and an additional five students earning recognition as alternates.
Students competed against hundreds of other students from across the state in a rigorous selection process to earn their spots. Judging was based on auditions that took place in mid-November.
“I am incredibly proud of all of our musicians and vocalists for the time and effort they put into their work, AACPS Coordinator of Music Jessica Valadie said. “These honors are not only a tribute to that effort, but evidence of the amazing teaching and learning that takes place in our music classrooms every single day.”
