The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County has opened a link for those wishing to testify virtually at the second of its two public hearings on Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell’s recommended Fiscal Year 2027 operating and capital budgets.
Hearings will be held as follows:
· 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Severn Run High School. Speakers may sign up in person at the school beginning at 5:30 p.m. No virtual testimony will be taken at this meeting.
· 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2026, in the Board Room at the Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis. Speakers may sign up in person at the school beginning at 5:30 p.m. Those wishing to testify virtually may sign up through a link on the Board meeting website at www.aacps.org/boardcomment. Virtual testimony registration will close at noon on January 7, 2026.
Testimony at the hearings will be limited to two minutes per person and speakers may only offer testimony at one hearing. Speakers may only testify at one hearing.
The January 8 public hearing and the January 20 workshop will be broadcast live on AACPS-TV and on AACPS’ YouTube channel.
