If you’re interested in volunteering at school—whether it's helping out in the classroom, chaperoning a field trip, or assisting with events—you'll need to complete the Background check or complete the fingerprinting process. Through the Community Schools grant, we are paying for 25 people fingerprinting process fee of $62 on Thursday, January 22, during Reading and Math I-Ready Night 5:30 pm-7 pm. The spots are first come first serve! Click on this link to commit. You may also call/text Mrs Pearsell for assistance or questions.

Valentine’s Day is February 14th and all children are invited to participate in a small celebration within their classrooms. Students are invited to bring Valentine’s Day cards to share with friends. We ask that if your child chooses to participate, he/she brings enough Valentine’s Cards for each student in the class. If families need assistance, please reach out to Ms. Tina Ramirez, School Counselor. Teachers will be sending class lists with first names only if you would like to personalize the cards. Students will be provided with white Valentine’s Day bags that they can decorate prior to the party. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s teacher.
Sincerely,
Woodside Elementary School
