Please join us at the Glen Burnie Public Library on Saturday, April 18, as we celebrate Arab Heritage Month. There will be a special dance performance at 12 p.m. All are welcome! Afterwards, feel free to participate in a scavenger hunt, check out books, or socialize with other families. We hope to see you there!

Today it rains, tomorrow it blooms. Every raindrop has a story. Come join us at Woodside ES, rain or shine, as we socialize and learn with others. Woodchuck Junior is on Mondays 1 pm-2 pm: April 13 and May 11, as well as Fridays 9 am-10 am: April 17 and May 15.

On 8 April, there will be a Financial Literacy Fair from 5–7.30 pm at Old Mills Middle School. Transportation is available upon request.
13 April: Woodchuck Jr. Bilingual Storytime, 1–2 pm, for any child aged 0–5 not enrolled in a public school.
17 April: Woodchuck Jr. Learn and Play, 9:00–10:00 am, for any child aged 0–5 not enrolled in a public school.
18 April: Woodside meet-up at the GB Library, 12–1 pm. A wonderful way to kick off our dance week at Woodside and support Spring Reading!
20 April: Woodside meet-up at Bubba's, 11 am–11 pm, sponsored by the PTA. Funds support 5th-grade activities.
22 April: Get Ready for Pre-K Information Session, 4–5 pm.
22 April: Title I Literacy Night (dinner and performance) 5:15 pm. Return tear-off by 15 April.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 8th at 5:00pm for our cluster-wide Family Financial Literacy Night. This event will be hosted by Old Mill Middle South at 430 Old Mill Road Millersville, MD 21108. Families should enter from the Oakwood Road entrance.
If you need transportation, please inform Mrs Pearsell at 410-570-2396 by 4/7 so private transport can be arranged.
This event will feature keynote speakers for parents & teens from the Educational Systems Federal Credit Union and BayVanguard Bank as well as several additional resources regarding Financial planning and well-being. We will be providing interactive games for Children in partnership with Mathnasium and snack will be provided.
We will have Spanish speaking interpreters available at the event to assist families with accessing information and resources.

In honor of Women's History Month, WES provides female caregivers with Self Care Strategies and Learn “Easy” Yoga Practices. The evening will also include a catered soup and salad from our community partner, Outback Steakhouse in Glen Burnie. Childcare, transportation, and an interpreter can be provided upon request.
