We are excited to share that our annual Holiday Shop will be open December 1–5, 2025! Students will have the opportunity to shop for family and friends during school hours. This is a fun and affordable way for them to experience the joy of giving, with most items priced between $1 and $7.
Your child’s specific shopping day will be listed on the flyer and on the PTA facebook page. If you would like your student to shop for particular people, please send their shopping list along with their spending money on their scheduled day.
If you would like to volunteer at our Holiday shop please let us know. We need help wrapping gifts and helping the kids shop. We have created a Amazon Wish List if you would like to participate. https://www.amazon.com/registries/gl/guest-view/2ALT281S9RBET?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_ggr-subnav-share_62A4JDB97A0YZFQS00HX&language=en-US&fbclid=IwY2xjawONdbVleHRuA2FlbQIxMQBicmlkETFDNVhrNW5nRFZwd0U0ZklLc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHmMWOL4zMrGbS_akGjpV27cQHZQ2QafSjfB2qPnJpHB57-c9srVElaA7xuD5_aem_1vsw5W3qN196OkGRfxHt-g

Male family members and father figures play a crucial role in the healthy development of their children. Please consider participating in our Men Matter kickoff on Friday, November 7, from 7:30–8:30 a.m. and our First Friday Family Fun Board Game Night from 6–7:30 p.m. There will also be male involvement opportunities on Fridays, November 14 and 21, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. at Woodside Elementary. Contact Mrs. Peasell at 410-570-2396 or mcolletonpearsell@aacps.org for more information or questions.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County has changed the time of the closed session it will hold on Monday, November 3, 2025, and will now meet prior to its scheduled public hearing on the Phase 2 redistricting process.
For details, go to the AACPS news release page.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will have further discussions about the six Phase 2 redistricting proposals currently under consideration at its next regular business meeting, scheduled for noon on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
At the meeting, the Board will also:
• consider approval of a new middle school course – Integrated Computational Thinking – and three new high school courses – Forensic Science 2, Advanced Placement Cybersecurity, and Advanced Placement Business Education With Personal Finance.
• conduct the first of three readings on revisions to the Policy IIC, Graduation Requirements and the accompanying regulation. The revisions would reduce the number of credits needed for graduation from 26 to 22.5, still higher than the state minimum, by requiring fewer elective credits.
More details can be found on the AACPS news release page.
