💥 1,176 total hours of learning logged!
🧠 95% of that time was spent on skill practice — showing just how focused our Tigers are on mastering new concepts.
🎯 177,884 questions answered across all grades!
👏 On average, students answered 303 questions per week, showing strong consistency and dedication to growth.

Bus Update 2 10/10 2:28: Bus A has arrived and will be leaving campus shortly. Thank you for your patience!

Bus Update 110/10 @ 2:22 Our bus contractor just let us know that Bus A is in traffic on 295 and running 10-15 minutes behind. It will make all stops and students will remain supervised while they are in the building.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will receive new additional information regarding Phase 2 of the comprehensive redistricting process and consider revisions to the current school year calendar at its next regular business meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

At the meeting, the Board will also receive an update on the minimum school funding requirements contained in the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future and the work Anne Arundel County Public Schools is doing to meet those requirements.

Eighty-five school educators have been nominated for the 2025-26 Anne Arundel County Public Schools Teacher of the Year Award. These outstanding teachers, representing schools across the district, were selected for their commitment to student achievement, their ability to build welcoming and inclusive classrooms, and their dedication to going above and beyond in service of children and families.

The Board of Education today announced a change in its schedule of public hearings regarding Phase 2 of its comprehensive redistricting process. The changes will allow the Board to receive new additional information from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell that may be helpful in the Board’s decision-making process.

Dr. Bedell told the Board he will present preliminary 2025-2026 student enrollment information at the Board’s next meeting, set for October 15, 2025. As a result, the Board has postponed the first of its two public hearings, scheduled for October 13, 2025.

The Board of Education today announced logistics for two public hearings – to be held on October 13 and 27, 2025 – at which members of the public can testify about the four Phase 2 redistricting proposals currently under consideration. For details, go to https://www.aacps.org/article/2463907.

Magnet Program Applications open at noon on October 6th and close at noon on November 6th for entry into Magnet Programs 2026-2027.Visit www.aacps.org/magnet for application information and qualifications.

Due to the Color Run, the school parking lot will be blocked off for most of the day tomorrow. Please follow these updated procedures: 🚗 Drop-Off Please use caution at drop-off as there will be volunteers setting up in the parking lot and may need to cross the street. The lot will be closed for parking to all non-volunteer vehicles. 🎨 Attending the Color Run? Please vision the check in table at the entrance to the parking lot.   After drop-off, families planning on attending first thing in the morning must leave campus and return after drop-off concludes at 7:50 a.m. 🙌 Morning Volunteers: Only volunteers helping with setup may park on campus before drop-off. 🚗 Pick-Up Please follow Airport 100 Way all the way down and make a U-turn and line  up along Airport 100 Way.
