I wanted to share the Anne Arundel County Food Bank Mobile Pantry schedule for the coming months. The pantry offers free food and essential items to all families, no ID is required, and everyone is welcome! Please bring a reusable shopping bag if possible.

Pantry Menu Includes:
Frozen Protein (Ground beef, ground turkey, chicken drumsticks, ground chicken)
Non-Perishable Food (Canned vegetables/fruits/meats, pasta, sauce, oatmeal, pancake mix, rice, beans)
Fresh Produce (Perishables (Liquid eggs (carton), ½ gallon milk, sliced cheese, butter)

Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the National Action Network will host a forum to discuss education and law enforcement issues from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, in the Board Room of the Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell will be joined by members of the county and city of Annapolis police departments as well as the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office. Due to high temperatures and heat indices forecast for Thursday, June 26, all AACPS-sponsored camps and activities will be held indoors or canceled. Camp and activity organizers will notify participants about cancellations. Movement of camps and activities indoors will be done where feasible given other activities at those sites. AACPS meal sites will operate as normal. For information about camps and activities scheduled by other agencies, please check with those agencies. As a reminder, all AACPS schools and offices are closed on Friday, June 27.
