Today we celebrate Unity Day across AACPS and our focus is BELONGING. Together we will learn and explore how standing up against bullying & hurtful words creates a sense of belonging and impacts the classroom community directly. Our classrooms are a safe place where we can all #BelongGrowSucceed because of the efforts of our teachers and staff driving home these important lessons!
Thank you to our community partners at Mentoring Through Athletics, BECAUSEICAN, Girls on the Run, STAIR Tutoiring and iCode for making our first season of afterschool program offerings a success! Our STAIR program and Girls on the Run will continue to meet through their respective end dates and particpants can contact Mrs. Carter for additional information. 4:55 p.m., 2/23/26: All Anne Arundel County Public Schools and offices will open on time and operate on normal schedules on Tuesday, February 24. Families, students, and employees should prepare for cold temperatures tomorrow morning and allow additional time to safely travel to and from schools, offices, and bus stops.
Any change in the status of school district operations for February 24 will be announced on Tuesday morning through normal channels.
