Students from Morgan State University spoke with AVID classes! They shared their experience & encouraged students to use the skills they are developing in AVID to become academically strong leaders who are responsive to their environment and community. #belonggrowsucceed

The first Family Academy Financial Aid Night en español was a wonderful success! More than 50 Spanish-speaking families representing 11 high schools deeply appreciated the opportunity to receive information in their native language about the FAFSA and other financial aid options, as well as to learn about the educational and career opportunities available at AACC. Thank you to our AACC partners for delivering this presentation for our Hispanic families, and to the Annapolis High School staff and Bilingual Facilitators for hosting the event and warmly welcoming families from across the county. This event was another step in providing equal access to educational opportunities and resources to support our students' college and career readiness. #BelongGrowSucceed #AACPSFamily

Former AACPS Student shines as an AACPS teacher!
Mr. Thomas is one of our fabulous 🐲 Lang & Lit Teachers at Annapolis Middle School.
We were doing a book checkout, and while I was helping students find the perfect book, the line at circulation was growing. Mr. Thomas said, I can check students out. I was a Library Aide when I was a student here at Annapolis Middle!
Then he told me you were his Librarian at GBHS, and I had to share. It was a great Library day at AMS. ❤️ 🐲 #DragonStrong

Our Dragon Title I Math team brought the fun to 🦖 Dragon Night!
Annapolis Middle School parents learned exciting math games to take home and enjoy with their kids. We also had a lively Bingo session with amazing prizes for the winners.
