Our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) team had an incredible showing at the state championship competition! Twelve of our students qualified and competed at the state level, and we are proud to share that seven students earned first-place state champion titles in their respective categories, while the remaining five students placed second in their events.
These accomplishments reflect the dedication, preparation, and teamwork our students demonstrated throughout the season. Their hard work truly paid off, and we could not be prouder of their achievements.
We are excited to announce that our team will now advance to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas at the end of June.
A special thank you goes out to Ms. Ali for her incredible dedication, guidance, and preparation that helped make this experience possible for our students. We wish our team the best of luck as they prepare to represent our school on the national stage!

In celebration of International Women’s Day, North Glen Elementary invited guardians to take part in a special event to promote growth and connection. The presentation focused on the experience of being a woman, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of self-care and self-love, and how these practices positively influence the well-being of our children and families. Participants felt deeply connected to the topic, heard, and were eager to continue learning more. A special thank you to Community School’s Ms. Bocanegra for helping plan and providing the delicious breakfast; to Ms. Shafer for joining us and always being so kind to our community; and to Karina Marin, our speaker, who reached the minds and hearts of all the women who attended.
