The Board will also hold a public workshop to discuss information related to the recently released Maryland Report Card results at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, in the Board Room. 5:15 a.m., 12/5/25: Due to inclement weather and anticipated hazardous road conditions in parts of the county, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late today. There will be no morning half-day ECSE classes, and no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South. 3 p.m., 11/13/25: I-97 southbound is closed at New Cut Road due to an accident. This will cause significant delays in bus transportation for some students being transported home from schools today. All buses will make all stops, but may be delayed in getting to those stops.

The number of Anne Arundel County Public Schools to earn five stars on the Maryland Report Card rose 36 percent in the 2024-25 school year compared to the previous year, with an AACPS record 15 schools now holding the state’s highest rating, according to data released by the Maryland State Department of Education today.
