5:30 p.m., 12/14/25: To allow for safer walking and driving conditions tomorrow morning, particularly in neighborhoods and on side streets, all AACPS schools will open two hours late on Monday, December 15. There will be no morning half-day ECSE classes, no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South and no transportation to NJROTC programs.

10:00 a.m., 12/14/25: In order to allow facilities and operations crews to clear school lots and walkways in preparation for classes tomorrow, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools facilities will be closed for all groups and activities today, December 14. At this time, all schools will operate on normal schedules on Monday, December 15.

The Maryland Report Card provides schools across the state with star ratings calculated from a variety of academic, attendance, and curriculum factors.

Yesterday at Hilltop we celebrated our annual Holiday Breakfast Winterfest, and the building was overflowing with holiday cheer! Families gathered to enjoy a delicious breakfast generously provided by our community partner, IHOP, along with festive crafts, games, book fair shopping, and photos with a very special guest. Smiles and laughter rang through the halls as our community came together to create wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event magical! ❄️🎄🕎

5:15 a.m., 12/5/25: Due to inclement weather and anticipated hazardous road conditions in parts of the county, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late today. A reassessment of conditions will take place this morning and any changes to this status will be announced by 7:30 a.m. today.

3 p.m., 11/13/25: I-97 southbound is closed at New Cut Road due to an accident. This will cause significant delays in bus transportation for some students being transported home from schools today. All buses will make all stops, but may be delayed in getting to those stops.
