No, Bob doesn’t know yet if there will be school on Monday. We hope everyone had a joyful and rejuvenating holiday break, filled with moments of rest and quality time with loved ones. As we begin the new year, we are excited to welcome our students back to school tomorrow, Thursday, January 2nd, 2025!
Please remember that our doors will open promptly at 7:40 AM, and we encourage all students to arrive on time and ready to begin their day. Instruction will start promptly at 8:00 AM, so let’s set the tone for a successful start to the new year.
We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces tomorrow. Let’s make 2025 a year of growth, learning, and new opportunities!

At its December 18, 2024, meeting, the Board of Education was presented with two recommended 2025-26 school year calendars by the AACPS Calendar Committee. The Board is now seeking public input on those recommended calendars.
The calendars, complete information on the discussion by the Calendar Committee and a link to provide input can be found at www.aacps.org/2526calendar. Input will be accepted through noon on January 3, 2025.
