Just a friendly reminder that Tiger Cub Friday is tomorrow at Brooklyn Park Library beginning at 10:15AM. Our special guest will be Miss Laura, creating beautiful art with our little learners. Hungry Harvest boxes will be available for up to 20 families in attendance.

Hello Park families,

Please join us on December 10th at 5:30PM for Wellness Wednesday. This event will include an optional Flu Clinic, along with Chick-Fil-A boxes and a holiday craft. We will also have a raffle for gift cards and fresh fruit and vegetables for up to 25 families.

Join us for Tiger Cub Friday on December 5 at 10:15 AM at Brooklyn Park Library. Miss Laura will be creating art with the children. Hungry Harvest boxes will be available for the first 20 families. This event is for children birth to age 5.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County today adopted a 2026-2027 school year calendar that calls for classes to begin for students on Monday, August 24, 2026, and end on Friday, June 11, 2027.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is scheduled to vote on adoption of the 2026-2027 school year calendar at its next meeting, scheduled for noon on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Also at Wednesday’s meeting, the Board is scheduled to vote on approval of a charter agreement with New Village Academy Public Charter School, which is set to open next fall, and elect officers for the coming year.

3 p.m., 11/13/25: I-97 southbound is closed at New Cut Road due to an accident. This will cause significant delays in bus transportation for some students being transported home from schools today. All buses will make all stops, but may be delayed in getting to those stops.
