Today ourAnnapolis Middle School educators had the incredible opportunity to learn from Dr. Shaun Woodly, nationally recognized speaker and author of “MC Means Move the Class.” His energy, passion, and deep commitment to equity-centered teaching were truly inspiring.
During our Unity Day Equity Presentation, Dr. Woodly challenged us to think differently, teach boldly, and build classrooms where every student feels seen, valued, and empowered. His strategies for engagement and culturally responsive teaching left our staff motivated and ready to elevate our practice! 💡📚

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2026 Mo Gaba Positivity and Perseverance Awards! These outstanding individuals were recognized at the AACPS Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, February 4, in honor of Mossila Kingsley Gaba’s legacy of courage, compassion, and positivity. AACPS Director of Communications Maneka Monk also received a surprise Legacy Award during the meeting.
