It’s Club Registration time! We are excited to announce that clubs will run on Tuesdays from January 27th through March 24th. On regular club days, students will be dismissed at 4:45 PM from the car loop. Please note that on March 24th, we will host our Club Showcase immediately following club dismissal. All families are invited to join us from 5:00–7:00 PM to celebrate what your child has learned. We have another amazing showcase planned and hope to see you there!

Based on your feedback from the recent survey, we are excited to announce that clubs will now be extended until 4:45 PM. Students will participate in math tutoring first from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM, followed by their chosen club from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM. Parents should plan to pick up their child from the car loop at 4:45 PM. To ensure all families have an equal opportunity to register, club registration will open tomorrow at 7:00 PM and close Monday at 7:00 PM, or earlier if clubs fill up. Registration is first come, first served, and once a club reaches capacity, the form will automatically close. The Google Form link will be emailed to all families tomorrow at 7:00 PM. We are thrilled to offer the following clubs:

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County has opened a link for those wishing to testify virtually at the second of its two public hearings on Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell’s recommended Fiscal Year 2027 operating and capital budgets. Public hearings will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Severn Run High School, and Thursday, January 8, 2026, in the Board Room at the Parham Building in Annapolis. Both hearings begin at 6 p.m. The workshop will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, in the Board Room at the Parham Building.

The seven-week academy is aimed at improving communication between the school system and international families as well as diversifying the pool of leaders in schools and communities who can better support the academic achievement of international students and multilingual learners. Meetings will be held during the day at various Anne Arundel County Public Schools locations.
