The number of Anne Arundel County Public Schools to earn five stars on the Maryland Report Card rose 36 percent in the 2024-25 school year compared to the previous year, with an AACPS record 15 schools now holding the state’s highest rating, according to data released by the Maryland State Department of Education today.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County has changed the time of the closed session it will hold on Monday, November 3, 2025, and will now meet prior to its scheduled public hearing on the Phase 2 redistricting process.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County will have further discussions about the six Phase 2 redistricting proposals currently under consideration at its next regular business meeting, scheduled for noon on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
At the meeting, the Board will also:
• consider approval of a new middle school course – Integrated Computational Thinking – and three new high school courses – Forensic Science 2, Advanced Placement Cybersecurity, and Advanced Placement Business Education With Personal Finance.
• conduct the first of three readings on revisions to the Policy IIC, Graduation Requirements and the accompanying regulation. The revisions would reduce the number of credits needed for graduation from 26 to 22.5, still higher than the state minimum, by requiring fewer elective credits.

Bus 1578 will run two routes this afternoon. One for bus B which will be late. We will send a notification when bus B leaves MGA campus.
Just a friendly reminder that we dismiss at 11:35 today and tomorrow. The early dismissal/dismissal change cut off time is 10am both days.
Bus B has left MGA to run it's normal route.
Bus 1577 will run a double route at dismissal. We will send a message when it departs MGA with bus B students.
