It's not too early to start thinking about MS athletics for the 2026-2027 school year! The school year will be here before you know it. Basketball tryouts will begin on August 31, just one week after school begins!
Below are all the links needed in order to register. Students can register for all three seasons at one time! Click on the registration link below to begin the process. There are several required forms, which are also linked below as well.

REMINDER: AACPS’ Summer Meals Program continues to operate mobile meal delivery to 19 community sites despite the extreme heat advisory. Those sites are:
• North County: Heritage Hills, Pumphrey Center, Willows Apartments.
• West County: Pioneer City, Meade Village, Spring Meadows, Still Meadows.
• Annapolis: Admiral Farragut, Annapolis Gardens, Bywater, Congregation Kneseth Israel, Hilltop Village, Woodside Gardens.
• South County (all sites designated as rural): Boones Mobile Estates, Lyons Creek Estates, Maryland Manor.
• Lothian (all sites designated as rural): Rio Vista, Patuxent Mobile, Wayson Woods.

It is up to parents to choose whether to send students. Please note that students that do not attend will be marked as unexcused unless documentation for an excused absence is submitted. There will be learning activities for students to engage in, should you choose to have your student attend.

As we begin planning for the upcoming school year, we are asking families to notify us if their child will not be returning to MGA next year.
Who this applies to:
If your student will be withdrawing at the end of the current school year, please complete the withdrawal process by June 16th, 2026.
Withdrawal Process:

Providing this information in a timely manner helps us with class placement, staffing, and ensuring a smooth transition for all students.
