2025-26 School Year calendar artwork

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is set to vote on revisions to its grading policy that would allow the school district to provide class rank to certain high school students at its next meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

At the meeting, the Board will also:

• receive the recommendation of the Calendar Committee on the calendar for the 2027-28 school year. A Board vote on that calendar is scheduled for the Board’s May 6, 2026, meeting. The Board approved the 2026-27 school year calendar earlier this year.
• get a summary of education-related legislation considered during the recently concluded Maryland General Assembly session and the impact of that legislation on the school district.
• recognize 2026 National Merit Scholarship finalists.

MGA is excited for our first soccer games of the season. Tomorrow's (3/26) games will be held at Brooklyn Park Middle School (not at Brock Bridge Park). Student athletes will take the bus to and from the games. Post game pick-up at MGA should be around 7:30 pm.

If you would like to watch our student athletes, here are some things to know:
Brooklyn Park Middle School's address is 200 Hammonds Lane, Baltimore, MD 21225.
Spectators should park in the parking spots along the bus drop off lane (see the image below).
We will be playing on the main turf (football) field.
Boys play first, starting at 4:45, with girls playing at 6:00 pm.
All spectators will be seated in the bleachers.
The only available restrooms are port-a-potties, so prepare accordingly.

Thank you for supporting our MGA Student Athletes!

Thank you so much!
