Hi everyone! My name is Ms. Hopkins and I will be teaching 7th grade Social Studies this coming school year. This is my first year with AACPS, and I look forward to joining MacArthur in the fall. I am originally from Baltimore, but for the past 2 years, I have been living and working in El Salvador teaching some of my favorite subjects, including psychology and sociology, to high school students. My most favorite subject however, which I am so excited to reunite with at MacArthur, is history. I can’t wait to explore the history of our world with 7th grade! Outside of teaching, I love reading, running, baking/cooking, watching the Orioles, and spending time with all the people that I love. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
