The PTA is excited to host Justin Berk and his Faith in the Flakes STEM program for our upcoming school assembly! The assembly will be held on Tuesday, December 16th for students!
In the meantime, to show our school spirit—and our love for snow—we’re offering the opportunity to purchase the Faith in the Flakes shirts shown below. To order a shirt, please use the link provided. The goal is to have as many as possible wearing these shirts on the day of the assembly!
All sales end on December 10th and shirts will arrive at school on December 15th!

In accordance with the Extreme Temperature Plan, low temperatures and wind chills will meet our threshold (32° or below) to provide temporary warming relief to community members who need this service. The location will be at Arundel House of Hope (7164 E. Furnace Branch Road, Suite D, Glen Burnie, MD 21060)
The following overnights are of concern:
Monday Night (12/01) - Low temp: 30° Wind chill low of: 28° at 0700 hrs.
Tuesday Night (12/02) - Low temp: 27° Wind chill low of: 30° at 1900 hrs.
Wednesday Night (12/03) - Low temp: 27° Wind chill low of: 20° at 0600 hrs.
Thursday Night (12/04) - Low temp: 21° Wind chill low of: 28° at 0500 hrs.
Friday Night (12/05) - Low temp: 29° Wind chill low of: 17° at 0500 hrs.
Saturday Night (12/06) - Low temp: 29° Wind chill low of: 31° at 0800 hrs.
• Intake at the warming center will begin at 6:00 p.m.
• Anyone utilizing the center has to leave by 7:00 a.m.
• Refrain from smoking on the premises.
• Entry will be denied to those in possession of drugs, alcohol, and/or weapons
Anyone who comes to the police district stations needing overnight accommodations can call the Crisis Response Warmline (410-768-5522) and they can provide assistance and transportation as needed.

3 p.m., 11/13/25: I-97 southbound is closed at New Cut Road due to an accident. This will cause significant delays in bus transportation for some students being transported home from schools today. All buses will make all stops, but may be delayed in getting to those stops.
