4:30 p.m., 1/8/25: All Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late on Thursday, Jan. 9. There will be no morning half-day ECI classes, and no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South. Families transporting students to school and those whose students walk to school should allow additional time and utilize extreme caution. A reassessment of conditions will take place on Thursday morning and any changes to this status will be announced by 7:30 a.m. on Thursday.

At its December 18, 2024, meeting, the Board of Education was presented with two recommended 2025-26 school year calendars by the AACPS Calendar Committee. The Board is now seeking public input on those recommended calendars. The Holiday Shop is coming to Woodside next week, 12/9-12/13. This is an opportunity for the students to purchase items for their families. The items range from $1 to $10. If you would like your child to shop, please send in money with your child. Please put the money in a baggie or envelope with their name on it. It is important to include a list of names of who they will be shopping for as well. You can place this in the baggie/envelope. The items will be wrapped and sent home the following week.
