Calling all incoming PreK students and families. Woodchuck Summer Pop up at Woodside Elementary School is from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 am on Monday, July 27, 2026. Students will meet other PRE-K friends, play organized games and enjoy a cool treat. Parents will be guided through what a PreK day will look like, given expectations, and provided with tips to get their student ready for school. ⏰ Time: Bus leaves at 8:45 a.m. and returns at approximately 2 p.m.
Pack your own lunch. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Program Details:
📅 July 13–16: STEM Theme Activities
⏰ Time: 9:00–11:00 AM
There will be Free lunch meals in the Cafe from 11-11:30 am. Must be consumed on site and with an adult.
📍 Location: Woodside Elementary School
STEM activities will be of the following:
Learn about coding with robots
Complete Engineering challenges, such as wind racers and bridge builders.
Breakout puzzle boxes.
Build and perform engineering challenges like the peacock lamp STEM kit and the marble run roller coasters.
These fun, hands-on programs will give children a chance to play, learn, and continue to problem-solve using the Engineering Process. Children must attend with an adult. See the attached flyer for more details.
⚠️ No Registration is required. Students will be engaged with the material provided and, in some cases, be able to make and take things to go home.

The final Movie Night of the school year is on June 5 at 6 pm. Come ready to represent your basketball team as we watch GOAT. Safety is our number one priority, so all children must be accompanied by an adult. Feel free to bring a blanket, foldable chair, or towel. Popcorn and water will be provided.

It's that time of year again: clear out your wardrobes and get rid of any items that no longer fit. Let's recycle them so that someone else can use them. We are accepting clean clothing for infants, toddlers, children, women and men. You can drop items off between Monday 1 June and Friday 5 June during school hours (7:30–15:30). The clothing, accessories and shoes giveaway will take place on Monday 8 June and Wednesday 10 June from 8:30am in the community school room. On Tuesday 9 June from noon until 6 pm. Volunteers are needed any day and at any time – please consider helping out! Kindergarten registration is completed using the Online Enrollment Portal. Through this portal, the parent/legal guardian will complete enrollment paperwork and upload the required documentation using their home computer, laptop, or tablet (smartphones are not recommended), or consider utilizing community resources with computer/ internet access.

Family Field Trip to the Walters Art Museum is Saturday, May 23, 2026. We have a few more spots available. To sign up, the supervising adult must have completed the commercial background check or have proof of fingerprinting.
