School bus schedules for the 2025-26 school year are now online at www.aacps.org/buses. Adjustments to these schedules may be made in the coming weeks, so please check back often. Questions should be directed to the Transportation Division at 410-923-7890.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools and the Anne Arundel County Chapter of the National Action Network will host a forum to discuss education and law enforcement issues from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12, in the Board Room of the Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell will be joined by members of the county and city of Annapolis police departments as well as the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Office. Katelyn Bullock a 2024 graduate of Southern High School and past president of the school’s FFA chapter, will receive her National FFA American Degree in October at the National FFA Convention in Indiana. As the highest degree achievable in the National FFA Organization, the American FFA Degree shows an FFA member’s dedication to their chapter and state FFA association. It demonstrates the effort FFA members apply toward their supervised agricultural experience and the outstanding leadership abilities and community involvement they exhibited through their FFA career.
