Last Day of School!

In light of the Code Orange air quality alert issued today, June 12, by the Maryland Department of the Environment and out of an abundance of caution for the wellbeing of students and staff, all outdoor activities planned at schools will be moved indoors or canceled. On Saturday June 7, the Anne Arundel County Police Department's Youth Activities Program held its annual Soap Box Derby race. Several students from the Phoenix Academy participated in this event, including the winning car designer.




Congratulations to Phoenix Academy student William LaVallee, who won the recent Soap Box Derby at Arundel Mills mall sponsored by the Anne Arundel County Police Department's Youth ACtivities Program. Thanks as well to Mark Donze and Officer Galloway for their assistance in putting together the winning entry.
