5:15 a.m., 12/5/25: Due to inclement weather and anticipated hazardous road conditions in parts of the county, all Anne Arundel County Public Schools will open two hours late today. There will be no morning half-day ECSE classes, and no morning sessions at the Centers of Applied Technology North or South. A fun surprise today—one of my students and I happened to be dressed alike! The class absolutely loved it, and it definitely brought some extra smiles, laughter, and a little burst of joy to our morning together

Third grade students are musical learners! Students are following chords symbols written in a song to play the chordal accompaniment on boom whackers. Students are also practicing building I, IV, and V chords on their own.
