Things are getting... Strange in 6th Grade!
Warning: A gate to the Upside Down opened briefly in Room 103, but don’t worry—Ms. Graziano’s 6th graders handled it like total pros!
Our classroom transformed into Hawkins as students teamed up to tackle the Quarter 2 Benchmark Review. To defeat the Mind Flayer of Math, students had to channel their inner Hawkins heroes, showing off massive amounts of collaboration and focus.
But the stakes were higher than a game of Dungeons & Dragons! Even Vecna made a guest appearance to challenge us on the twisted world of inequalities. (Turns out, solving for x < 11 is the only way to escape his curse!)
Great job, 6th Graders! You proved that when we work together, we can conquer any dimension (and any test)!

Our tigers got to participate in the 6-7 Reading Challenge today. The challenge was to read any 6 books of their choice in 7 weeks and then they would be added to the Tracey's 6-7 Readers Wall of Fame. Even some of our staff join in on the celebration! We are so proud of our tigers! #BelongGrowSucceed

The 6th Grade Dragons just leveled up! 🐉✨
Our Annapolis Middle School was transformed into a high-energy laser show with a powerful message. We learned that being a Dragon means leading with respect and standing up against bullying.
Watching the lasers light up the room was incredible, but the real "glow up" is seeing our students commit to making AMS a kinder place for everyone. 💡🤝🐉

We are excited to congratulate our EBSC group (levels 1 and 2). Everyone received a certificate for the hours completed. We are proud of these parents who make an extra effort after work to model to their students that they Belong, Grow, & Succeed in AACPS. A big thank you to AACC and the Community School Program for all the support in making this happen.
