The 3rd Annual Arundel Cluster Basketball Tournament was another huge success! 🏀 Waugh Chapel, Odenton, Piney Orchard, Two Rivers, Arundel Middle, and Arundel High participated in the tournament. Odenton's Dance Company students and Staff danced together in a halftime show to the Trolls Soundtrack! Arundel High's Dance Company also had an amazing performance to start our night out! Thank you to everyone who participated and came out to cheer on your school! 👏🏼

Pam Klink, a 13-year teaching veteran at the Center of Applied Technology South (CAT South) has been named the National Teacher of the Year by Magnet Schools of America (MSA). The surprise announcement was made last night during MSA’s national conference in Nashville.

Thirty-two Anne Arundel County Public Schools secondary students won their respective categories, 25 more finished second, and 24 others placed third at the recent SkillsUSA Maryland Leadership and Skills Conference. The student winners represent both Centers of Applied Technology as well as all 14 AACPS comprehensive high schools.

In October, we had nearly 2,100 students with family members whose first language is not English and who had not signed up for our Parent Portal, which we use to deliver important information throughout the year. Our amazing bilingual facilitators got to work on that issue and today, that number is 8. EIGHT.
