Three county high school seniors who are planning careers in the United States military make up the fourth class of recipients of Military Service Awards, created by the Board of Education to honor the legacy the late Candace C.W. Antwine, a military veteran and former Board member who died in 2021.

Good afternoon,
Today, we are excited to celebrate our students who have worked SO hard for their chorus, band, and strings concert! Out of courtesy for the performers, we ask that no one leave until the performance concludes. The concert is only 45 minutes long, and all of the students have worked exceptionally hard. Students must arrive at 5:30 pm. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Fifth grade is selling flowers, 1 for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00.

Three Anne Arundel County Public Schools earned inaugural Maryland Green School status, one renewed its status, one earned a Sustainable School designation and another reached the Sustainable Bronze level in the 2025 honors bestowed by the Maryland Association for Environmental & Outdoor Education (MAEOE).
