Due to the cold weather ❄️, our February Fall in Love with Reading Challenge Book Character Parade will be moved indoors.
Parents who wish to attend and view the parade are welcome to join us! 🎉 Please enter through the front entrance of the building and be prepared to present your photo ID in order to receive a visitor badge. For the safety of all students, all visitors must check in before proceeding to the Cafeteria.
Parents will stand along the walls inside the Cafeteria as students parade through in their wonderful book character costumes. 📚✨
The parade will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m., so we kindly ask that you arrive before that time to allow for check-in. ⏰
We are excited to celebrate our students’ love of reading and can’t wait to see all of their creative costumes! ❤️📖 Thank you for your flexibility and continued support.
Thanks to the efficient work of the Glen Burnie Park Civic Association, the parking lot adjacent to the school and the GBP Pool used by staff, families of walkers, and parking overflow is now reopened. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we all navigated the challenge together.
