We are excited to share that Four Seasons Elementary School will be participating in the 4th Annual Arundel Cluster Basketball Tournament! This fun community event features staff members from schools across the Arundel Cluster competing against one another in a friendly basketball tournament.
This year’s event will include teams from Odenton, Four Seasons, Piney Orchard, Waugh Chapel, Two Rivers, Arundel Middle, and Arundel High School. We hope to have a strong Four Seasons crowd cheering on our staff!

Sara Hamdaoui, a junior at Crofton High School, has been elected by members of the Chesapeake Regional Association of Student Councils (CRASC) to be the 2026-2027 student member of the Anne Arundel County Board of Education (SMOB). Thank you to the Arundel Wildcat athletes who greeted Four Seasons Elementary School students as they arrived at school last week. It is a wonderful annual tradition. Our students were excited to meet the older students, and many of the athletes who had attended Four Seasons were happy to be back.

The last day of school for students in prekindergarten through 11th grade will be Tuesday, June 16, 2026. The last day of work for 191-day Unit I and Unit IV employees (classroom teachers, teaching assistants, technology support technicians, etc.) will be Thursday, June 18, 2026.

The Board of Education of Anne Arundel County is set to vote on revisions to its grading policy that would allow the school district to provide class rank to certain high school students at its next meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
At the meeting, the Board will also:
• receive the recommendation of the Calendar Committee on the calendar for the 2027-28 school year. A Board vote on that calendar is scheduled for the Board’s May 6, 2026, meeting. The Board approved the 2026-27 school year calendar earlier this year.
• get a summary of education-related legislation considered during the recently concluded Maryland General Assembly session and the impact of that legislation on the school district.
• recognize 2026 National Merit Scholarship finalists.

We are incredibly proud of all our students who participated in the 2nd Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Oratorical Contest yesterday! Each student delivered an outstanding performance, honoring Dr. King’s legacy with passion and confidence. All participants will receive an award for their dedication and hard work.

Our three winners will now advance to the district-wide MLK Oratorical Contest on April 17, 2026, at 6:00 PM (Doors open at 5:30 PM) at the Chesapeake Arts Center. They will have the opportunity to showcase their talents once again and compete for top honors at the district level.
