Ferndale School Open House - May 16th
We want to invite all alumni of Ferndale Elementary or Ferndale Early Education Center to join us for an Open House to help us celebrate our 100th anniversary. It will be on Ferndale Day, May 16, 2026 from 12:30-2:00 pm. Come tour the school, meet some current staff, and share stories with us and each other of our dear school over the years. We are still gathering photos to share with visitors, so feel free to email anything scanned to me (ktvedt@aacps.org). We will have video production equipment to record your stories and a way to add stories to a memory book. We will also have order forms if you would like to purchase 100th anniversary t-shirts that we are having made. We really hope you are able to join us. Please share with friends and family who have Ferndale school connections.
We are also going to be marching in the parade. If you want to join us, email me (ktvedt@aacps.org). How fun would it be to have multiple generations of Ferndale students marching behind our banner, especially in spirit wear from over the years?

Anne Arundel County Public Schools has a free mobile app that makes staying informed easier than ever before. In the 2026-27 school year, routine announcements about school system events and operations will be disseminated primarily through the mobile app, the news section of the AACPS website, and through messaging to families (not through social media). Emergency notifications will continue to be featured in the alerts banner at the top off the AACPS website on social media pages. To ensure receipt of the latest updates and information, families should download the app and follow their student's school(s).Download the app in the App Store or on Google Play today!
