We are proud to celebrate the success of our students who earned the AP Capstone Diploma and the AP Seminar and Research Certificate for their hard work and dedication.

The AP Capstone Diploma is earned by scoring a 3 or higher in AP Seminar, AP Research, and four additional AP exams of their choice and those 19 students are:

Audrey Bevans, Sumer Chestnut, Jackson Davis, Madison Degen, Teirney Gerrity, Sophia Greene, Jonah Hall, Rylee Kane, Ava LaBrutte, Angelina Lutterbie, Garrett Myers, Eavan Pazour, Sophia Peeples, Emma Rexha, Oreofe Tychus, Alison Warner, Ameila Weller, Mar issa Weller, and Evan Wirzbuger

The AP Seminar and Research Certificate is earned by scoring a 3 or higher in both AP Seminar and AP Research and those 4 students are:

Luke Decker, Riley Glenn, Dara Li, and Sydney Perry

These distinctions matter as these students begin their college application process. These students will show colleges that they can handle rigorous, college-level work, they are set apart from other college applicants because they have proven research and writing skills and that they have learned how to solve complex problems, work in teams, and present their ideas clearly. Congratulations!

FEDERAL IMPACT PROGRAM SURVEY Parents who are active uniformed service or who live or work on Federal Property in Maryland are asked to complete this year's Federal Impact Aid Survey when it becomes available on September 30, 2026. You will be asked to verify your home address and identify if it is located on federal property. You will also complete sections identifying if a family member is in the military or works on federally owned property in Maryland. The survey should only take a couple of minutes to complete and be assured, all data collected is kept completely confidential. Why Complete This Survey Anne Arundel County Public Schools, like many local school districts across the United States, include within our boundaries parcels of land that are owned by the Federal Government or that have been removed from the local tax rolls by the Federal Government. Federal property is exempt from local property taxes. By submitting an application to the Department of Education each January, AACPS receives approximately $2 million to assist in educating all our students.

The Seahawk Store is one way that the students can use their hard-earned Seahawk Bucks. The store is open every Friday morning, giving students the opportunity to use their Seahawk Bucksto choose small items and rewards.

How You Can Help

The Seahawk Store is supported by donations from families, staff, and community partners. We welcome small prizes, snacks, school supplies, and other items high school students would enjoy.
