Please read this message for important information and updates pertaining to the 2026-27 school year. Every other week, a new Seahawk Scoop will be sent our electronically to the community. Please use this communication as well as messages posted on the website (www.southriverhigh.org), AACP App, X (@SRSeahawksaacps), and Instagram (srseahawksaacps) to stay informed.

NEW- Traffic Pattern for Drop-Off and Pick-Up
South River has had some changes that will impact our drop-off and pick-up of students. Please see the diagram below. All cars must now enter South River’s parking lot using the entrance/exit on Hardesty Drive. No longer can you enter by the stadium. Parents are asked to pull all of the way forward in the parking lot when dropping off or picking up students. Please do not stop at the middle of the lot as it will cause traffic to back up.

Class of 2027 - Senior Sunrise and Last First Day
Senior Sunrise will be at Turf 2 on August 24th from 6 - 7:30 AM. For Seniors' Last First Day on August 25th, please enter school at the gym entrance where your Senior Officers will have your pictures taken with signs, balloons, and frames to be selected for your Senior Year Yearbook. Seniors can follow the SRHS Class of 2027 Instagram page for reminders and updates. Any questions can be sent to Ms. Ellis at sellis@aacps.org.

Seahawk Fans! Keep your eyes out for the new online Seahawk Spiritwear Store, which will go live at Thursday's open House. A huge line of Seahawk Spiritwear and Merch will be available in a Ship-To-Home order/delivery in about a week after purchase. Watch for the link to the online store posted on the Graduating Class Canvas pages, on the school Facebook pages, and Class Instagram pages. Let's show our Seahawk Spirit!
South River Ice Hockey Pre-Season Meeting - Please join us on September 2nd from 6-7pm at the AA County Southern District station ( 35 Stepneys Lane) for a preseason informational meeting for all interested in joining the South River Ice Hockey team.
