Hello Solley Families,
October kicks off our annual Harvest for the Hungry Food Drive from October 19th to October 23rd ! In addition to donating canned and non-perishable food items, monetary donations can be made to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank by clicking the link here. The food bank provides food to hundreds of local families in need.
During this week, it will also be our Spirit Week.. Students can dress up on the designated days. See the flyer below for more information about spirit days and suggested food items to donate on those days.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools has a free mobile app that makes staying informed easier than ever before. For the last several years, the AACPS community has been very generous by stuffing a school bus with donations of school supplies for students. This year, we’re doing it again!

Bus routes and schedules for the 2026-2027 school year are now available online. For complete information, go to www.aacps.org/buses. Information may change prior to the start of the school year as routes are adjusted, so please check back periodically. Questions should be directed to the Transportation Division.
Are you unsure about whether your student is eligible for bus transportation in the upcoming school year? Anne Arundel County Schools’ Transportation Eligibility Tool can give you the answers you need. Just to go www.aacps.org/transportationeligibility and enter your address. Specific bus schedules will be posted online no later than Wednesday, August 12.

REMINDER: AACPS’ Summer Meals Program continues to operate mobile meal delivery to 19 community sites despite the extreme heat advisory. Those sites are:

• West County: Pioneer City, Meade Village, Spring Meadows, Still Meadows.
• Annapolis: Admiral Farragut, Annapolis Gardens, Bywater, Congregation Kneseth Israel, Hilltop Village, Woodside Gardens.

Our Spring Book Fair is just around the corner, May 18th through May 22nd, and we are excited to welcome students and families for a fun week filled with great books!The Book Fair is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover new stories, build their home libraries, and encourage a love of reading. Students will have the chance to shop during the school day, and we hope families can join us as well on Thursday, May 21st, from 2:45-6:00 PM.
