The next meeting of the Innovative School Scheduling Workgroup established by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024, in the Board Room of the Parham Building, located at 2644 Riva Road in Annapolis. The workgroup has been created to engage stakeholders in a robust conversation regarding school scheduling in Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) and to consider innovative school scheduling models for implementation in AACPS. It consists of AACPS staff, elected officials, and representatives from community organizations. Meetings are open to the public and public feedback on innovative school scheduling in AACPS and the work of the workgroup is encouraged. Individuals will be able to provide comment in person or virtually at the end of each workgroup meeting. A total of five speakers will be permitted to speak for three minutes each. Written comment may also be submitted to Grace Wilson, Senior Legislative and Policy Specialist, at gawilson1@aacps.org. As the group’s work progresses, more information will be posted at www.aacps.org/schedulingworkgroup. Those who cannot attend meetings in person can watch virtually through links found on that page.

T-shirts are available in small-3x sizes and are white with short sleeves. Students can purchase these shirts by cash or check from Mrs. Littleton during school hours. Purchases can also be made online by visiting the school website and clicking on "online payments". After purchasing online you must provide Mrs. Littleton with a receipt to receive your order. Good afternoon, Northeast High School Families- This is a reminder that on Wednesday, October 9th schools will be running a modified schedule due to the PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 opportunity for all 9th and 11th graders. There will be a double bus run; one running normal pick-up time and another 3 and a half hours late. All 9th and 11th grade students will report to school on time and report to their testing locations. All 10th and 12th grade students will report to school 3 and a half hours late. It is the expectation that all students attend their 3B and 4B classes. All 9th and 11th grade students were given their testing locations by their Math and English teachers. If your student(s) have any questions on where they need to go, staff will be available help them.
