The 2026-2027 course selections for students in grades 5-11 have been entered into

PowerSchool. As we have done for several school years, parents will need to go online to their

PowerSchool Parent Portal account and verify the course requests through the portal. Parents can

access this form through the web version of PowerSchool or from their mobile device.

The timeframe for the Course Request Verification Form will be open to parents Monday, April

20th through Friday, May 1st. The Communications Office will be sending out an Apptegy

message to notify families in Grades 5-11 on Monday, April 20th directing families to the

www.aacps.org/parentportal for support with this process. We highly recommend including this

information in your upcoming newsletters and posting the information on your website.

Please share this information as needed with staff that will be assisting in this process or

potentially fielding questions. It is recommended to provide a copy of this memo to the

Counseling Secretary and anyone else trained in the Parent Portal at your school. Counselors and

staff with Data Entry access including Registrars will be able to complete the form in

PowerSchool Admin Portal on behalf of the family.

The Student Data Office will pull files at the end of the first week on April 24th to provide you

the data for the students that are projected to attend your school and again on May 1st with an
