Good afternoon Central Middle families,
May 20, the Blue Angels will be showcased as part of he US Naval Academy Commencement exercise. In anticipation of absences and early dismissals, we are sharing the attendance process below. For any student who will be absent or need an early dismissal due to attendance at this event, please submit your request on or before Friday, May 15. This will allow for a more efficient check-out process for students who are leaving as they will be able to be pre-approved.
All early dismissals that are submitted on the day of the event must be verified prior to approval and could delay the release of your student. Any student who is verified/approved for an early dismissal must exit through the vestibule. If a note is not submitted in advance, a legal contact must come into the vestibule and provide identification in order to have the student released. This absence will be coded A08 with a note in the system regarding attendance at the Blue Angels event.
PLEASE NOTE: On the day of the event, we WILL NOT be able to accept emails, phone calls or text messages allowing students to leave with another person other than the parent or guardian.
Please allow extra time. You will still need to sign out your student and show your ID.
