Thank you to all the students who participated in Arundel Middle's Read-A-Thon. It was a huge success! We raised $5240 and the students read 10,236 minutes. Congrats to our top three readers: Amir (835 minutes), Everett (779 minutes), Corinne (750 minutes) and to our top three who raised the most money: Ire ($525), Julie ($325) and Mason ($300). Congratulations to the Maryland Terps team for both reading the most minutes and raising the most money.
The money raised has already been used to create a Reading Sanctuary for students to read quietly outside during lunch and to offer our first outside "Movie Night" for our students. Please join us for this event, Oct. 19th, 6PM - 9PM.
