The creative talents of Anne Arundel County Public Schools student artists are now on display at Annapolis Mall, thanks to a special partnership between the school system and the mall.
The exhibit features artwork of more than 3,000 students and highlights the wide range of creativity and expression found in AACPS visual arts classrooms. Visitors will see everything from detailed drawings and bold paintings to mixed media pieces and striking photography. Each is a reflection of the imagination and hard work of student artists.
The artwork is located between the SPCA and LUSH and will be on display through May 14, 2025.
A public open house will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6. Families, friends, teachers, and community members are invited to gather outside Crate & Barrel at 6:15 p.m. for a special welcome from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Mark Bedell.
This exhibit is more than a display. It’s a celebration of student voice, artistic growth, and the power of visual arts education in our schools. It offers students a meaningful opportunity to share their work with the larger community and serves as a reminder of the importance of creativity in learning and life.
