The Office of Equity supports schools and district offices by ensuring all students belong, grow, and succeed. The work of the Equity Office is rooted in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Educational Equity Policy (AF) The policy's purpose is to establish the procedures and practices to provide for educational equity and eliminate obstacles to accessing educational opportunities for all AACPS students.

Through community outreach, professional development, and collaboration; the Office of Equity provides strategic support for school-based administrators, teachers, and central office staff to achieve the goals of Anne Arundel County Public Schools. Equity is committed to working side by side with parents, community members, and other stakeholders to ensure equitable access and opportunities for all students.
