AACPS Presents...

  • A Quarterly Mental Health Documentary Series

IndieFlix presents "The Upstanders" - a documentary about resilience and the power of connection to end bullyingAACPS will be hosting a quarterly documentary series screening of mental health topics impacting adolescents.  The first screening will be “The Upstanders,” which explores all sides of cyberbullying, from bully to victim, bystanders and family members.  The power of social media means that bullying is now a 24/7 phenomenon.  This documentary demonstrates that participation from everyone is needed to eradicate cyberbullying.  It gives bystanders the confidence and tools to become “Upstanders,” and help change toxic narratives.

The screening of “The Upstanders” will take place on Monday, October 11th at 7 pm. and followed by a pre-recorded panel discussion on the film and cyberbullying. View the film on October 11th here. We hope that you will join us for this opportunity to end cyberbullying in Anne Arundel County, as well as participating in the additional topics we have planned for the future below.
