Continuity of Learning Plan Credits: Spring 2021

As in the spring and fall of 2020, MSDE has made the decision to allow local school systems to award MSDE CPD renewal credits for educators who implement the Continuity of Learning plan developed by the local school system. An individual who implements the appropriate subject and grade-level Continuity of Learning plan can earn credits toward the renewal of the Maryland professional certificate. Please note that this opportunity is only available to classroom teachers with students who currently possess a teaching certificate.  Teachers will need to provide supporting documents addressing the four performance outcomes of Learning Schedule, Learning Environment, Student Engagement, and Feedback.

  • Teachers can earn up to 6.0 MSDE CPD credits for implementing the continuity of learning plan between February 22, 2021 – April 18, 2021. *Please note that a maximum of six (6) total credits may be earned between the fall 2020 and spring 2021 Continuity of Learning plan credit opportunities.
