Teams from 7 AACPS Schools Qualify for Maryland State MESA Competition Day

First-place challenge winners at Anne Arundel County Regional MESA Day held on April 5, 2019, qualified teams from seven County schools to compete at the State MESA Day competition held at Johns Hopkins Applied laboratory in Laurel, where the MESA program is based on Saturday, May 18. The qualifying teams were from Lake Shore, Severn, and Solley Elementary Schools; Chesapeake Bay and Meade Middle Schools; and Arundel and Annapolis High Schools.

Here are the results:

Wearable Technology Challenge:

1st place: Lake Shore Elementary School (Anne Arundel County)

Storybook Theme Park Ride Challenge:

2nd place: Severn Elementary School (Anne Arundel County)

Wearable Technology Challenge:

2nd place: Annapolis High School (Anne Arundel County)
