Students Honored for Their Achievements at 5th-Grade Straight-A Luncheon
Regional Assistant Superintendent, Lisa Leitholf celebrated with the 52 fifth-grade students and congratulated them for their achievements as they were honored by the Pasadena Business Association (PBA). The event took place at Two Rivers Steak & Fish House on April 25, 2019, for students who earned straight A’s during the first three marking periods during this 2018 – 2019 school year. All of the elementary schools in the Northeast and Chesapeake feeders have participated in this recognition event for about 15 years. This year, the schools with students who qualified were Bodkin, Ft. Smallwood, Jacobsville, Riviera Beach, Solley, and Sunset Elementary Schools. Students received a free lunch compliments of Two Rivers. An ice cream dessert was provided by Bruster’s Ice Cream and transportation services was provided by C. Muhl Bus Company. The PBA paid for the adult chaperones to attend and collected items for each student to receive a goodie bag, as well as citations from the County Executive and Delegate’s offices.
