Families Receive Tips for Supporting Student Achievement at Family Involvement Conference
The School and Family Partnerships Office is sponsoring a family involvement conference on Saturday, November 10, 2018. The conference will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD.
The theme of this fall’s conference is “We are Better Together” and our very own Deputy Superintendent Dr. Maureen McMahon will deliver the keynote address.
Participants will be able to choose two workshops to attend from a variety of different topics, such as “What We Say Matters: Boost Motivation and Self-Esteem through Positive Talk,” “Stress Busters Through the Ages and Stages: How to Help Kids Cope with Worries and Concerns” and “How to Create a Family Vision Board” among many others.
