Managing Your School Volunteer Program
Volunteers are an important part of the AACPS school community. They enrich the education of our students, support our staff, and serve families in our community. AACPS volunteer programs are managed by the staff liaison for volunteers and a volunteer coordinator, who is generally a parent. They manage the volunteer program under the direction of the school’s principal.
The Volunteer Trainingand Volunteer Recognition pages are resources that Staff Liaisons for Volunteers and Volunteer Coordinators can use to plan and manage a program that most effectively benefits both the students and the school.
