Accommodations Request SAT/ACT
Students with documented disabilities who are planning to take the PSAT, SAT, ACT, or AP exams must apply to the College Board (AP, PSAT, SAT) or ACT for approval to test with accommodations. The College Board and ACT are committed to providing a broad range of accommodations to eligible students with documented disabilities. Even though Meade High School has documentation that your son/daughter receives testing accommodations based on their IEP or 504 plans, students must apply for approval to test with accommodations.
If you would like Meade High School to submit an accommodations request to College Board to see if your son/daughter are eligible for the College Board accommodations, please complete the attached forms and return them to Mrs. Michael, School Testing Coordinator. Although a student may get accommodations through AACPS, it is not guaranteed that they will be approved by College Board. The approval process from College Board could take up to seven weeks to complete, however we generally hear back within two weeks. Meade High School will not submit any accommodation requests without written permission from parents/guardians. More information about testing accommodations can be found at the following links:
