Elementary Summer Academy : July 6 - July 30, 2020

    The Elementary Summer Academy program is designed for students currently in Grades K-5 who wish to maintain their reading and math skills throughout the summer in a relaxed, positive setting. Tuition is $250 per student. Tuition Reduction is available for qualified students. Please note that transportation is not provided. This year’s sites are:

    The Elementary Summer Academy will run July 6-July 30, 2020. Classes meet Monday-Thursday from 8:15 am-12:15 pm.

    Due to the current closure of schools from Covid-19, the Summer Academy program is uncertain.  We hope to have an update by May 1, 2020.  Please continue to check here for further information.  We appreciate your patience.  Stay safe and healthy!

Secondary Summer School: July 7 - August 4, 2020

  • The secondary summer school program offers students a limited number of secondary school courses and provides students the opportunity to:

    • make up work in which they were unsuccessful
    • improve grade averages in sequential subjects
    • earn credits to meet high school graduation requirement

    Secondary Summer School classes will be held on-line due to COVID 19.  Assignment to Secondary Summer School will be determined by student's home school.  Registration will be June 29th and June 30th on line.

Summer Meals/Food Program

  • Summer Meals for Kids - food that's in when school is out Summer 2020

    Information will be posted as soon as it is available

    AACPS provides free breakfast and lunch to children ages 2-18 during the summer as part of the USDA’s Summer Food Service Program. There are no income or registration requirements. COME AND ENJOY A HEALTHY MEAL!

  • Fun Summer Camp for Students Entering Kindergarten Through 6th Grade

    Camp Invention is the only nationally recognized, non-profit summer enrichment program for kindergartners through 6th graders that is inspired by the brightest thinkers around- the Inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame.
