Temporary Employee Paid Leave
AACPS has established a program to provide paid leave to temporary employees per the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act.
Temporary employees working at AACPS accrue paid leave if they work at least 24 hours in a pay period. Paid leave for temporary employees is accrued at the rate of one (1) hour for every 30 hours worked in a pay period.
